Susan Hardwicke, Ph.D.
The founder and director of kSero Centers for the Mind. Dr. Hardwicke received Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology and Master of Philosopy in Psychology degrees from George Washington University in Washington, DC, where she studied neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, psycholinguistics, learning and memory, tests and measurements, and industrial/organizational psychology.
She also was an invited Lecturer in Psychology. She has studied nutrition and the impact of supplements on the brain and behavior for more than 20 years. Her experience in cognitive psychology, learning, and measurement has ranged from designing and evaluating research on computerized testing for the U.S. Department of Defense to establishing a nationally used online educational testing system and receiving federal grants for applying cognitive neuroscience for improving foundational learning skills. Dr. Hardwicke served as lecturer at the California School of Professional Psychology and as an advisor for the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC. She developed the cognitive skill model and behavioral assessments used by kSero Centers, as well as co–developing the Parenting for Competence and Character program. She developed the interdisciplinary methods for correcting underlying learning problems.
Marc S. Micozzi, MD, Ph.D.
Dr. Marc S. Micozzi is nationally recognized as an expert in complementary and alternative medicine. He earned M.Sc., M.D., and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. During the 1980's and 1990's he worked with former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop to develop national health education, disease prevention and health promotion programs. Until recently he directed one the nation's leading Centers for Integrative Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. At present he is an author, practitioner and teacher and is actively developing a series of one-week residential health and wellness programs in some of the nation's leading resorts and restorative environments. Founder of the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and the author of authoritative texts on alternative medicine and cancer prevention, he serves as a medical and scientific advisor and member of the board of directors of kSero Corporation.
W. Andy Wallace, M.S.
Assistant director of the kSero Center for the Mind in Richmond, Mr. Wallace holds a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond. Mr. Wallace has served in a variety of mental health settings, such as community outpatient clinics, school-based programs, and community-based programs for teens. Experienced in intervention with children having an ADD diagnosis, he developed his own neurofeedback practice for children and adults in Portland, Oregon before joining kSero Centers for the Mind.
David J. Weston, Ph.D.
Dr. Weston, a licensed psychologist, received a Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. As an appointed member of the Examination Committee of the Board of Psychology of Virginia, Dr. Weston spearheaded the design of qualitative assessments used for state licensure of clinical psychologists. Dr. Weston has more than twenty years of developing, managing, and implementing programs in assessment, competency modeling, performance improvement, and change management.
