Vital Mind
kSero developed the Vital Mind program for anyone who wants to greatly improve mental functions and skills. Skill development is guided by our model. The concept behind Vital Mind is to allow you to select the level of service you need, based on your goals and budget. The kSero Center for the Mind has proprietary and licensed training and diagnostics for you to use on site. Neurofeedback services that improve brain wave activity and reduce hyperactivity are available for additional fees.
It works like a health club membership: you can decide when to use the Center, how long, and what services you want to try. Our staff trains you to operate the systems and to monitor your performance. You can design your own program, or let one of our professionals design it for you. If you require a customized program, or are facing a serious deficit of skills for any reason, we strongly recommend
a customized program, beginning with a comprehensive assessment.
We have found that children tend to receive months of tutoring
as a first resort, when, in fact, the foundational skills are the primary issue and tutoring was not effective. Adults are concerned about cognitive decline or the new "concern", Adult Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Answers and advice help you save resources.
Vital Mind enables you to identify your level of need, and then allows you these options:
Basic Membership.
kSero designs a program, and trains you to use the cognitive skills training systems in our offices. We provide a headset and "flash drive" for you to store your data. For a monthly fee, you can train any time from 8:30 am until 7:00 pm. In addition, you'll save 10 percent on workshops and products, and receive the latest news on supplements, pharmaceuticals and helping your brain. Just complete the Screening Form and tell us your objectives, and we'll design a program and recommend the frequency and length of sessions you'll need to meet your objectives.Vital Mind Plus.
If you or your child needs professional monitoring and ongoing feedback and suggestions, this level of membership is for you. kSero professionals will follow a detailed program and monitor your food, supplements, exercise, and sleep, to help you achieve maximum results in the shortest possible time. Just as with the Basic Membership, you'll receive your own headsets and "flash drive", which we keep in a file just for you. In addition, you receive reduced fees for workshops and products. Just complete the Screening Form and tell us your objectives.Independent Usage.
Just as in a fitness center, kSero will train you to use our training systems. You can use them as you decide, for a per-session fee.

If you or your child have a serious learning or cognitive disorder, we provide the help you need. Professionals follow a Five–Step Process developed by Dr. Susan Hardwicke, based on years of research, federal grant sponsorship, development, and trials. Our approach promotes action and progress, even from the first appointment.
Step 1
kSero performs a comprehensive "intake" of client information, including:
- Relevant medical history, including developmental milestones, accidents and traumas
- Review of academic history and pertinent evaluations
- Total nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits and lifestyle assessment
- Objectives for improvement
Step 2
kSero conducts our proprietary assessment, the Cognitive Portfolio, and after evaluating all data constructs a cognitive profile for the client.
Step 3
kSero constructs a series of recommended actions that meets the client’s objectives.
Step 4
kSero implements a customized Goal and Action Plan that may include cognitive training, nutritional adjustments, and lifestyle changes such as habits and patterns in parenting.
Step 5
kSero measures changes over time and updates the action plan to gain maximum benefit until goals are achieved.
